Taste The Tropics is an ice cream shop and community staple in Flatbush, Brooklyn. I decided to take the time to redesign this company’s logo and branding because Flatbush is a community that welcomed me when I first came to New York. As a descendant of two Caribbean immigrants I felt embraced by the neighborhood dubbed “Little Caribbean” and I wanted to work on a project that reflected the warmth and sense of community I felt while living there.
